Fair questions
Why is there no free plan?
Because you're the customer, not the product. AI Tab Switch is local-first: no ads, no analytics, no data to monetize — the price is the only revenue. The 7-day trial is the free part, and it's the full product.
What happens when the trial ends?
Your plan starts and Stripe charges the price shown — that's it. Cancel any time during the trial and nothing is charged at all.
What exactly does Lifetime include?
One payment, permanent access, including updates — less than fifteen months of monthly. Card networks don't do trials on one-time payments, so Lifetime carries a 7-day money-back guarantee instead: the same 7 risk-free days, refunded on request.
Can I switch plans later?
Yes. Start monthly, and move to yearly or lifetime whenever the math convinces you. Billing is handled by Stripe.
Do refunds exist?

Which browsers and devices does one purchase cover?
Chrome, Edge, and Firefox builds install directly, and a Safari build is included for macOS (one conversion step, walked through on the install page). One license runs on three devices at once — signing in on a fourth simply signs out the oldest. Settings move with you via export/import.
Does it spend my tokens or need API keys?
No. It works in the tabs you already have open — no API keys, and nothing billed against your model quotas. Your existing AI subscriptions are the engine; this is the cockpit.
What if I cancel after the trial?
Two clicks from your account page into the Stripe portal, any time. Your plan runs to the end of the period you've already paid for and nothing renews after that; the extension then locks until you return, while your settings and notes stay on your machine.
